One of strategic objectives of Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. is improvement of its cooperation with Customers. This objective is fulfilled at many levels – by implementing and use of modern technological solutions in product manufacturing, inspection, quality and storage, as well as by improving the management system and increasing competitiveness of the Company range in the market.
All sugar plants belonging to Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. manufacture sugar meeting the European standards. Our care for quality of manufactured sugar and side products, the natural environment and positive relations with our Partners is reflected in the Integrated Management System Policy of Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. adapted by the Management Board and in the implemented management systems.
Mutual trust and honesty represent fundamental values in the Company relations with its Customers. To convince our business partners about transparency and ethical approach in its operations, the Company has joined SEDEX (the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) system and adopted the requirements of the SMETA Code. In December 2010, first audits were conducted at KSC S.A. sugar plants by an external certification body. The audit focused on four areas of interest: employment standards, occupational health and safety, environment, and corporate ethics. Successive audits were conducted in 2015 and 2017. These audits ended with a positive result. The Self-Assessment Questionnaire and audit reports are available at the SEDEX platform.
Customers of Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. include manufacturers of confectioneries, drinks, fruit and vegetable preserves, confectionery bakery products, and large retail chains and entities in the traditional market.
Customers of Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. are located both in the European Union states, and on other continents. Large international groups represent an important group of customers, with their plants located not only in Poland, but also in Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Greece, Hungary, Baltic States, and Scandinavia. Furthermore, sugar is exported to countries of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
